Honourable Sir Julius Chan, GCL, GCMG, KBE, PC and Governor, New Ireland Province and Former Prime Minister Lady Stella Chan, Vanessa, Byron, Mark and Toea and your extended family Thank you for giving us the opportunity to pay our respects to this Great Leader of our country and our people.   Sir Julius as known to all of us, was a man amongst men. A leader of leaders and a statesman who dedicated his entire adult life contributing enormously to nation building.   As one of the founding fathers, Sir Julius served his country and people well. A service to his community and his stance on good governance are his public legacy. PNG Bulletin ,  8th January 2024. NAC today welcomes ANL operations at the new Nadzab Tomodachi International Terminal. The National Airports Corporation Ltd (NAC) today welcomed Air Niugini operations at the new Nadzab Tomodachi International Airport Terminal and congratulates them on this successful transition as their domestic operations commence today, Monday 8th January, 2024 at the new terminal. This marks a significant step as NAC works closely with Air Niugini, PNG Air and other airline operators to provide improved and seamless services for passengers. Effective today, all passengers (including Air Niugini passengers) will now be processed at the new Nadzab Tomodachi International Terminal. The old terminal will remain open, however it will only be processing cargo for Air Niugini and PNG Air. Minister Internal Security Statement The recent report in The National regarding the charging of 116 former police officers for criminal acts is a clear indication of our unwavering commitment to maintaining a zero-tolerance policy on misconduct within the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary (RPNGC). In 2023, Commissioner Manning authorized the dishonorable discharge of over 300 police officers.
