He's not happy with Prime Minister James Marape and wants things to change. Allan Bird is becoming a big voice in the opposition party. Minister for Fisheries and Marine Resources, Jelta Wong said the visit involved meetings between both Prime Ministers and senior ministers, where they discussed economic, educational and sporting co-operation prior to the match.  He was disappointed that certain media outlets got the numbers all wrong and should think twice in the future and check their facts before misleading the nation. “Rugby League is potentially a massive economic sector in PNG, but we need to promote it and better our players and teams in overseas competitions.  PNG is the number one rugby league country in the world with a greater proportion of rugby league fans per population than any other country,” said Minister Wong.
