Honourable Sir Julius Chan, GCL, GCMG, KBE, PC and Governor, New Ireland Province and Former Prime Minister Lady Stella Chan, Vanessa, Byron, Mark and Toea and your extended family Thank you for giving us the opportunity to pay our respects to this Great Leader of our country and our people.   Sir Julius as known to all of us, was a man amongst men. A leader of leaders and a statesman who dedicated his entire adult life contributing enormously to nation building.   As one of the founding fathers, Sir Julius served his country and people well. A service to his community and his stance on good governance are his public legacy. Post Shitty Tabloid Courier is misleading and lately all their articles and headlines are never well investigated! by Grace Boker Mungkaje  PNG I believe does not have dual citizenship agreements with the Philippines. You can only be a dual citizen of PNG and the following prescribed countries: 1. Australia 2. Fiji 3. Germany 4. New Zealand 5. Samoa 6. United Kingdom 7. United States of America 8. Vanuatu After 18 years of age if you are a citizen of a country by birth, you have to decide which passport you retain. If you have a PNG passport by birth, then automatically it is rescinded once you obtain a foreign passport. Being born in PNG but now holding a foreign passport of a country we do not have this dual citizenship arrangement with does not allow you to receive the same benefits as a Papua New Guinean . If you want to receive the same benefits then you would have to renounce your foreign passport and only keep your PNG passport . For example I was born in Canada 🇨🇦 but my...
