Honourable Sir Julius Chan, GCL, GCMG, KBE, PC and Governor, New Ireland Province and Former Prime Minister Lady Stella Chan, Vanessa, Byron, Mark and Toea and your extended family Thank you for giving us the opportunity to pay our respects to this Great Leader of our country and our people.   Sir Julius as known to all of us, was a man amongst men. A leader of leaders and a statesman who dedicated his entire adult life contributing enormously to nation building.   As one of the founding fathers, Sir Julius served his country and people well. A service to his community and his stance on good governance are his public legacy. Later continuing to complete secondary education of Grade 11-12 at Brandi Secondary School in Year 2006-2007. He was not selected for University or Colleges in 2008. When I went to PNG University of Technology to do my Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Electrical & Communications Engineering. He stayed back home in the village without any hope for further studies.  Fast forward 10 years later, in 2018 he asked me for financial help to start cocoa farming because he sees everyone at home (in the village) are doing it. RESTRICTION OF FUEL SUPPLIES IN PNG CAUSES CANCELLATION OF FLIGHTS. AIRNIUGINI MEDIA STATEMENT - Wednesday 4th January 2023.  RESTRICTION OF FUEL SUPPLIES IN PNG CAUSES CANCELLATION OF FLIGHTS. AIRNIUGINI MEDIA STATEMENT - Wednesday 4th January 2023. Air Niugini wishes to advise the travelling public that due to issues with Puma Energy accessing US Dollars, Puma has decided to suspend the supply of Jet A1 fuel within PNG including to Air Niugini and all other airlines effective from today. This restriction applies to Port Moresby and all the airports around PNG. Unfortunately there is no alternative supplier of aviation fuel in most airports, including Port Moresby. Consequently Air Niugini is forced to announce that all domestic flights from 0001 tomorrow (Thursday 5 January) have had to be cancelled due to Puma Energy’s refusal to supply Jet A1 fuel to the airlines. Marape - Rosso Government 2022 USAID Launches Energy Investor Guide in Collaboration with IPA The U.S. government, through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), launched an Energy Sector Investor Guide for Papua New Guinea (PNG) in collaboration with Investment Promotion Authority (IPA) on October 3, 2022 in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.  This Energy Sector Investor Guide is a result of collaboration between the USAID-Papua New Guinea Electrification Partnership (PEP) Activity and IPA and aims to help catalyze private investments in PNG’s energy sector.
