𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗣𝗜𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗬??? By Hon. Bryan Kramer: Tue April 8 2025 Our Pati Leader, Hon. Paita, has issued a press statement reaffirms Our Pati's unwavering support for the Pangu-led Government and PM Marape, ahead of impending vote of no confidence (VoNC). "This is no time for political instability - it is a time for nation-building during a challenging period of our nation's history," said Paita, who also serves as Minister for Mining and Special Projects. Paita added:  "Why does stability matter? Our Pati's own experience have shown that political instability comes at high cost for PNG - especially when the nation needs unity above all else. It erodes investors confidence, delays major projects, and disrupts governance.  Countries like Singapore, Rwanda, and Fiji have thrived by prioritizing stable leadership and policy consistency. PNG must do the same." 𝗠𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲: That's quite amusing - considering many of these ...

Thank you Sepik people for the Prayers

As many of you have heard, I had to have surgery which I had delayed for about 4 years due to COVID19, the recent elections and a fairly busy work schedule.

I am back on deck as of Thursday last week. This week we will tidy up our provincial budget and pass it.

Our provincial budget will focus on the following agenda:

    1. Land Mobilization to create jobs

    2. Mengar International Port

    3. Building LLG capacity

    4. Labor Mobility to Australia

    5. Continue to restore core services

We have great potential for large scale Agriculture to create jobs for the future. Minister Maru and I have had positive discussions with potential investors but we need to get our people and our land sorted out. Minister Maru will make the announcement when he is ready.

On my side, I combined my work trip with my medical treatment and we have the potential to develop up to a million hectares of land consistent with our Integrated Provincial Development Plan.

The PM and Deputy PM have been briefed and we have their blessing and full support to proceed. I am deeply grateful to Minister Wong also for his strong support and leadership.

It is no secret that I have been keen to support livelihoods and jobs since before my election as Governor in 2017. Long-term sustainable jobs have been difficult to secure for a long time. Our population growth is significant and jobs have been on the decline.

This initiative, if successfully executed will be the biggest in our history and will fulfill my vision of becoming your Governor. I am keen not just to develop but to transform our society.

This initiative will deliver:

    1. 200,000+ direct, 200,000 indirect jobs

    2. Billions of dollars in private investment

    3. Significant infrastructure

    4. Billions of kina in annual exports

    5. 295MW of power

The investor is ready with the finance and he is fully committed. It is now up to the National Government and the ESPG to organize our landowners to secure the investment. I have directed the ESPA to make this our priority now.

I want to make it clear that no public funds were used for my medical expenses.

Again thank you all for the prayers. My life is not important, it's the vision that is important. I urge all Sepiks to support us as we try to deliver this massive project of national interest.

We will disclose all details once we have succeeded and all agreements are in place.

Maulu and God bless you all.
