US companies increasingly eliminate college degrees as a requirement amid 'out-of-control' school costs

One report projected that 1.4 million jobs could be opened to those without degrees in the next 5 years

According to Fox News, the US companies are starting to remove the requirement of having a college degree for certain job positions. 

This change is happening because the costs of attending college have been rising rapidly and are becoming unmanageable for many individuals. 

As a result, companies are finding alternative ways to assess the skills and qualifications of job applicants, rather than solely relying on a college degree.
