Paita, has issued a press statement reaffirms Our Pati's unwavering support for the Pangu-led Government and PM Marape, ahead of impending vote of no confidence (VoNC). "This is no time for political instability - it is a time for nation-building during a challenging period of our nation's history," said Paita, who also serves as Minister for Mining and Special Projects. Paita added:  "Why does stability matter? Our Pati's own experience have shown that political instability comes at high cost for PNG - especially when the nation needs unity above all else. It erodes investors confidence, delays major projects, and disrupts governance.  Countries like Singapore, Rwanda, and Fiji have thrived by prioritizing stable leadership and policy consistency. PNG's YOUNGEST SINGING SENSATION DIVINE SALEM TO PERFORM SOLO IN NEW JERSEY, THE UNITED STATES   by PNG Happenings Original If you haven't heard this 12-year-old Manus girl's rendition of Adele hit "Easy on Me" yet, please do it now!  The PNG's Youngest Singing Sensation Divine Salem flew to New York last week to perform in "The Rise of the Light" musical, one of dozens of young dancers, singers and musicians from 35 countries chosen to be in the show after she competed at the International Festival of Language and Culture in Berlin, Germany, in June.   The Paradise High School (Port Moresby) Grade 7 student was one of 13 grand finalists in the festival's Colors of Voices Song Contest.  Divine told ABC Radio she would be performing in the US over the next month and then was looking forward to going sightseeing with her parents.
