Honourable Sir Julius Chan, GCL, GCMG, KBE, PC and Governor, New Ireland Province and Former Prime Minister Lady Stella Chan, Vanessa, Byron, Mark and Toea and your extended family Thank you for giving us the opportunity to pay our respects to this Great Leader of our country and our people.   Sir Julius as known to all of us, was a man amongst men. A leader of leaders and a statesman who dedicated his entire adult life contributing enormously to nation building.   As one of the founding fathers, Sir Julius served his country and people well. A service to his community and his stance on good governance are his public legacy. PNG's YOUNGEST SINGING SENSATION DIVINE SALEM TO PERFORM SOLO IN NEW JERSEY, THE UNITED STATES   by PNG Happenings Original If you haven't heard this 12-year-old Manus girl's rendition of Adele hit "Easy on Me" yet, please do it now!  The PNG's Youngest Singing Sensation Divine Salem flew to New York last week to perform in "The Rise of the Light" musical, one of dozens of young dancers, singers and musicians from 35 countries chosen to be in the show after she competed at the International Festival of Language and Culture in Berlin, Germany, in June.   The Paradise High School (Port Moresby) Grade 7 student was one of 13 grand finalists in the festival's Colors of Voices Song Contest.  Divine told ABC Radio she would be performing in the US over the next month and then was looking forward to going sightseeing with her parents.
